For International Medical Graduates

Applicants requiring visa sponsorship are encouraged to apply for J-1 visas, which continue to be fully supported by Montefiore Einstein. Montefiore Medical Center will sponsor an H1-B visa as long as the $100,000 fee is not applicable. If the fee is applicable, the institution is unable to provide H-1B sponsorship or cover the associated cost.

Applicants must have a ECFMG certificate before the Rank List Deadline and should have graduated from medical training within 5 years. It is strongly encouraged that candidates have at least 3 months of hands-on clinical experience in the US.
