CHAM Specialists to Showcase Research at Annual PAS Meeting in Toronto
Physicians and researchers from Children’s Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM) and our Albert Einstein School of Medicine will present new and innovative research at this year’s Pediatric Academic Societies Meeting (PAS) on May 5–8, 2018, in Toronto. Our specialists will present their pioneering work covering all areas of pediatric medical care, including treating sickle cell anemia, pediatric nephrology, behavioral medicine, adolescent medicine, quality improvement, health equity and social justice. Two CHAM fellows will also be honored with research awards.
Groundbreaking discoveries by CHAM’s specialists and investigators have led to the development of innovative therapies, safer processes and better outcomes for children treated worldwide.
The annual PAS meeting is the leading event for academic pediatric and child health researchers. As part of CHAM’s mission to provide the highest quality care with cutting-edge technology, attending meetings such as PAS serves to enrich the work that we do to ensure the health and safety of children and families in our community.
