Our Child Life Program and team of specialists complement medical treatment by focusing on patients’ emotional and developmental needs through medical play, procedural preparation, diversion, and creative expression. The Ronald McDonald Hospitality Cart and programing at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein provide comfort and complimentary items to caregivers and family members. Located within the Family Learning Place and traveling throughout pediatric floors, Ronald McDonald House provides coloring books; kid-friendly snacks, beverages, and healthy refreshments for patients and caregivers; and enrichment programming packages geared for elementary and middle school students.
