OUR TEAM

Solomon L. Moshe, MD

Since 1979, Dr. Moshé’s research has focused on translational approaches to understand the mechanisms underlying the development of epilepsy and its consequences in infants and children. He has developed and patented a model that replicates human infantile spasms and is actively involved in several multicenter studies examining the outcomes of prolonged febrile seizures (seizures occurring with fever) to identify predictive biomarkers of the course and response to treatment.

Dr. Moshé has served as president of the International League Against Epilepsy, American Epilepsy Society, the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society, the Eastern Association of Electroencephalographers He is an elected member of the American Neurological Association and the American Pediatric Society.

Education & Training

Neurology Education + Training PhotoThe Pediatric Neurology residency training program at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine is an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)-accredited advanced program with formal links to the pediatrics residency program at CHAM. Residents in the three-year program undergo instruction in clinical neurology from fellows and faculty at CHAM. Residents receive extensive subspecialty exposure and are required to pursue varied electives and original scholarly research while participating in weekly didactics and clinical rounds.

Our specialists have published more than 600 peer-reviewed journal articles and lecture extensively at national and international meetings. Doctors also work to educate a new generation of specialists through the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and our own in-house residency program to ensure that we remain leaders in pediatric neurology for the next 25 years and beyond.
