The Montefiore Adolescent Primary Care Initiative (MAPCI) is a nationally recognized, multi-disciplinary collaboration between the Division of Adolescent Medicine and Montefiore Medical Group, instrumental in promoting adolescent access to care and educating primary care physicians about the challenges of providing optimal adolescent care. MAPCI projects include medical center-wide initiatives related to adolescent confidentiality, optimizing the Electronic Medical Record for adolescent primary care, and transitioning adolescents to adult care. Elizabeth M. Alderman, MD is the founding Chair of the MAPCI Steering Committee.
