SERVICES & PROGRAMS

The Division of Pediatric Surgery provides the full spectrum of surgical treatments for children with benign and malignant growths, gastrointestinal and liver conditions, traumatic injuries, life threatening birth defects, uncontrolled weight and more.

From the less complicated general outpatient procedures to the most advanced brain surgeries, surgical services at CHAM include:

Our board-certified surgeons work within a professional team to develop a thorough initial evaluation, devise an individualized treatment plan, perform the necessary surgery and implement follow-up care.

Specialized pediatric anesthesiologists are an important component of the team, which ensures greater safety for our young patients. CHAM's commitment to providing exceptional care extends to the education of patient and family to assist them in evaluating treatment options as well as in preparing them for the surgery experience.

Prior to a scheduled surgery, our team with the Phoebe H. Stein Child Life Program works with the family to allay their anxiety by bringing them into the operating room, introducing key staff, and explaining what can be expected in advance of the operation.
