The Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellowship program at Children's Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM) has been designed to produce excellent clinicians in the care of hospitalized children with both acute and complex chronic illnesses, as well as outstanding researchers and quality-improvement leaders. The program received accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education in the spring of 2020.
We are seeking candidates driven by a commitment to clinical and academic excellence, who want to develop the skills needed to become a future leader in a rapidly growing field.
What Our Fellowship Offers
During the two-year program, fellows rotate at Children's Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM), the pediatric hospital for Albert Einstein College of Medicine and White Plains Hospital, a community hospital setting, on both resident and attending-only services, as well as several relevant elective rotations.
Throughout the fellowship, our fellows receive high-caliber training in clinical research, quality improvement, medical education and leadership. They participate in the departmental science course for pediatric subspecialty fellows and have the option of obtaining a Master of Science degree in clinical research methods through the Clinical Research Training Program (CRTP) at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
