Services & Programs

We see patients on an outpatient basis at Montefiore’s Wakefield Division and The Montefiore Medical Clinic of Scarsdale. In addition, we are always available for in-patient consultation. 

Our team specializes in a number of different procedures including:

• Diagnostic biopsy and imaging
• Laser therapy
• Surgical removal of skin lesions, including atypical moles and birthmarks

In conjunction with CHAM’s world-renowned Division of Genetics, we have also opened a special clinic for patients suffering from inherited skin diseases, including ichthyoses and blistering disorders . 

We are also introducing a multi-disciplinary service to treat vascular anomalies. The effort will allow your child to benefit from the expertise of our cardiologists, pediatric radiologists, interventional radiologists, ophthalmologists, oncologists, and surgeons, in addition to other specialists. 

In keeping with CHAM’s dedication to community-based and family-centered care, our team spends a significant amount of time counseling children and parents regarding effective skin care regimens. We are careful to answer any questions that you may have about day-to-day concerns—from the proper use of sunscreen and emollients to how to determine if and when your child should be tested for allergies.
