Personal Biography
Radhika Teli, MD, is an attending physician at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein and Assistant Professor, Pediatrics at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Teli’s clinical focus is on general pediatrics, with a particular interest in childhood obesity and social drivers of health.
After obtaining her Bachelor of Science in food and nutrition from the University of Cincinnati in 2014, Dr. Teli earned her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 2019. She then completed her pediatrics residency at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein in 2022. In 2024, Dr. Teli completed a postdoctoral scholar program in population health science at New York University (NYU) Grossman School of Medicine and a fellowship in academic general pediatrics at NYU Langone Health / NYC Health + Hospitals / Bellevue. Dr. Teli is currently completing her Master of Science in clinical investigation at NYU Grossman School of Medicine.
Dr. Teli’s research focuses on childhood obesity, specifically exploring the relationships between food insecurity during critical periods of child development, including pregnancy and infancy, and obesity-promoting child and parenting behaviors. She has shared her work through peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, abstracts and invited presentations.
Dr. Teli is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in general pediatrics.
