Personal Biography
Jonathan Friedman, MD, is an attending physician, Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Assistant Professor, Pediatrics at Montefiore Einstein. His clinical focus is on the diagnosis and treatment of acutely ill and injured children.
In 2007, Dr. Friedman earned his Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Syracuse University. He later came to Einstein for his medical education, earning his Doctor of Medicine in 2016. After completing his pediatric residency at NewYork-Presbyterian, Weill Cornell Medical College in 2019, Dr. Friedman pursued his pediatric emergency medicine fellowship at Jacobi Medical Center, completing it in 2022.
Dr. Friedman’s research interests include the diagnosis and acute management of cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome in the pediatric population. He’s shared his work in peer-reviewed journals and through presentations.
Dr. Friedman is board certified and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
