Personal Biography
Janna Danbe, DMD, is an attending dentist at Children’s Hospital at Montefiore. Her clinical focus is on the improvement of oral health for patients and their families. She provides care for children and adolescents, including those with special health care needs, with particular interest in pulpal therapy for primary teeth.
After earning her Bachelor of Arts at Columbia University in 2002, Dr. Danbe attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2007. For postgraduate training, she came to Einstein, completing her pediatric dentistry residency in 2009.
Dr. Danbe mentors residents for various research projects covering a wide scope of pediatric dentistry. Her recent studies examine the effectiveness of dental sealants and silver diamine fluoride.
Dr. Danbe is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a Fellow of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the New Jersey Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
