Personal Biography
Faye Kokotos, MD, is Attending Physician at Montefiore and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Kokotos is focused on the medical care of infants, children and adolescents.
In 1984, Dr. Kokotos received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology at Barnard College. She went on to attend the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, receiving her Doctor of Medicine in 1988. Her postgraduate training took place at Montefiore, starting with an internship and residency in Pediatrics from 1988 to 1991, followed by a fellowship in Ambulatory Care Pediatrics from 1991 to 1992.
Dr. Kokotos has written several book chapters and review articles.
In 2018, Dr. Kokotos was inducted into the Leo Davidoff Society for excellence in medical student education. Dr. Kokotos is board certified. She is a fellow with the American Academy of Pediatrics and is a member of several professional organizations, including the Academic Pediatric Association, the American Medical Association and the Hellenic Medical Society of New York.
