Personal Biography
Arushi Dhar, MD, is an attending physician at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein and Assistant Professor, Pediatrics at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Her clinical expertise focuses on the care of critically ill children with congenital and acquired heart diseases.
In 2012, Dr. Dhar completed her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at Government Medical College in Jammu, India. After completing her pediatric residency at Ascension St. John Hospital, Wayne State University in 2016, Dr. Dhar pursued a clinical fellowship in pediatric cardiology at Cohen Children’s Medical Center, Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, completing it in 2019. She then completed a senior fellowship in pediatric cardiac critical care at Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School in 2020.
Dr. Dhar’s research focuses on neurodevelopmental outcomes in children with congenital heart disease and quality improvement in pediatric cardiac critical care. She has shared her work through peer-reviewed journals and poster presentations.
Dr. Dhar is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology by the American Board of Pediatrics. She is a member of the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Society.
