Personal Biography
Yehudit Y. Yuhjtman, MD, is an attending physician at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein and Instructor, Pediatrics at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Yuhjtman’s clinical focus is providing quality pediatric care and treatment as well as educating young patients and their guardians. She also works with residents and medical students on their journey to becoming physicians.
After receiving her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley, Dr. Yuhjtman pursued her medical education at Ben Gurion University, Medical School for International Health, in Beersheba, Israel, earning her Doctor of Medicine in 2021. She completed her pediatrics residency at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, PA, in 2024.
Dr. Yuhjtman’s research focuses on understanding the factors contributing to mental health in children with chronic diseases. She enjoys understanding resident wellness and creating programs for them to foster their meaning in medicine and other activities for resident wellness. She has been a co-investigator on several research and quality improvement projects.
Dr. Yuhjtman is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
