Personal Biography
Kari J. Anderson, MD, is an attending pediatrician at the Comprehensive Family Care Center (CFCC) at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein and Assistant Professor, Pediatrics at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Anderson’s clinical focus is caring for children in the Montefiore Einstein community, including preventive medicine, developmental and educational growth, mental health concerns and addressing acute and chronic illness.
After earning her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1997, Dr. Anderson completed a pediatrics internship at New York University in 1998. She then completed her residency in pediatrics at the same institution in 2000.
Dr. Anderson is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is part of the Einstein Learning Community Program (ELCP) at Montefiore Einstein. In 2022, Dr. Anderson was inducted into the Leo M. Davidoff Society for outstanding achievement in teaching medical students. She has received the Teaching Star Commendation from Montefiore Einstein for multiple years.
