Our Expertise

CHFmobile_2013_mcallister-1481_316x210The Community Pediatric Programs (CPP) fulfill a vital, philanthropic mission. We serve New York City's homeless and under-insured families by providing compassionate, family-centered health care to children regardless of parental income or citizenship.

Our experienced staff includes pediatricians, adult and women's health providers, nutritionists, behavioral health professionals, social workers, and support teams. Together, we treat children's common medical needs via mobile clinics and outpatient centers, such as the South Bronx Health Center and the Center for Child Health and Resiliency.

Through the CPP, children and their families can access routine health care services such as:

  • Primary care
  • Integrated mental health
  • Dental care
  • Nutrition counseling
  • A wide array of patient support services

These services represent a longstanding, successful partnership between Montefiore and the Children's Health Fund, a national organization that develops and advocates for health care programs for medically underserved children and families.
