The Suzanne Pincus Family Learning Place is a pediatric health information and resource center that provides health education materials and information about community resources and supportive services for children and their families.
We encourage patients and families to access our health information so they empower themselves to make well-informed decisions and be active participants in their healthcare.
Our health education materials and information are organized in a consumer-friendly system based on broad categories of illness and wellness topics. Many are available in multiple languages and for varying developmental abilities. The GetWell Network is a multilingual interactive system that allows patients to access medical education, videos and hospital services such as housekeeping and customer relations.
Our Outreach Specialists are happy to assist you with finding the person, organization or resource that is best suited for you and your child. These Outreach Specialists can help you navigate a variety of hospital services, making sure you receive the support you need.
The library is a quiet and comfortable place where families and caregiver’s can stop and relax. A parent or caregiver may choose two books per child to keep. The staff is more than happy to help you with selections.
In addition, the Family Learning Place provides business services such as Internet access, copying, faxing and scanning.

We are located in the upper lobby level, just past the general information desk at the Children's Hospital at Montefiore.
